Christmas is one of my most favorite times of the year! I love Thanksgiving as well, it is just here in Idaho we have to put up our Christmas lights before it snows or the lights don't get done. Things just get a little cold and slippery to be messing with lights. So last Saturday Brett got on the roof and dutifully put up the lights they are going to look so great! However, even though the lights are on the house they will not be turned on until after Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving and Christmas, this truly is the best time of the year!!!

I hear ya. We have to do that, too. I have a feeling that we'll be lightless this holiday season. Too many other projects are taking priority!
ReplyDeleteI love Thanksgiving and Christmas too! They are all wrapped together in my memory and in my mind. I'm so glad we have such powerful reminders of what is really important!
ReplyDeleteI am so jealous! I promised Jeremy last year that we wouldn't put up any Christmas stuff up early this year...Probably because I put it up in the first few days of November and insisted on taking the Christmas tree down after we opened presents. Ha ha ha!
